Herborner

Herborner Pumpenfabrik has a 130-year history of innovation in the design, fabrication and support of water pumps and condensate units used in the harshest operating environments. A recent innovation is the adoption of Permanent Magnet (PM) pumps that substantially reduce energy consumption.

For the defence industry Herborner specializes in the Unipump family of compact shipborne waste black water pumps. Hernborner’s pumps are designed and manufactured for durability, reliability and low maintenance requirements when operating in harsh conditions. They include slim profile designs with integral macerators.

Herborner’s manufacturing is performed in-house and includes a casting foundry.

Kaycom and Herborner have delivered pumps for use on the Canadian Patrol Frigates and are exploring opportunities on new vessels that will be constructed under Canada’s National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy (NSPS).

Kaycom has represented Herborner since 1990.

The head office and manufacturing facility are located in Herborn, Germany, with a second facility in Landsberg near Leipzig.
